I'm extremely new to Moodle and trying to find out whether the finctionality we'd like will / does exist in repositories.
We have a number of similar courses structured in levels like module /topic / section / element /screen (our nomenclature).
The courses are designed around a common domain but with different content in some areas because of the user interests.
What we'd like to do is to keep the content (HTML etc) external in some repository or database and link to the relevant parts of it from within the course.
I'm not clear whether the references, here and elsewhere, to ' external files' means this?
