We've been using metacourses successfully until this term, when I created a new intake of a course by restoring from another course. Both of these are child courses. That is, we've got metacourse A, and child courses B & B'. Now students enrolled in B' are not getting auto-enrolled into A as they should be. of course, if not auto-enrolled they can't access the course at all.
things that might be relevant:
- We currently use email-based self-registration. (I'm working on moving to LDAP ... you should see what I inherited!)
- There are about 170 enrolments in course A, maybe 12 or 15 in course B'.
- Cron job is running correctly AFAIK. Also experimented with removing course B as a child course and running cron job again. No dice. Also tried changing ID of course B' to remove an underscore, no dice.
I have fixed this temporarily by allowing guest access, but that's not ideal for a variety of reasons.
Are there any odd things I should check to troubleshoot this? Appreciate your help.
