Changing the grade form a number to a criteria

i currently use moodle to teach my btec sport. is there any way of changing the grading from 1 - 100% to P1, P2, M1 etc which is the grading criteria for BTEC. Anyone have any ideas.

Within Moodle you can create your own custom grading scales. Depending on which version you are using will determine how to access the scales option. In 1.9 click on the Grades link in the administration block. You will find a tab on the page that says "Scales". Click on the tab and then on the "Add new scale button. Give your new scale a name and then add the values for your scale from lowest to highest separated by commas. Give a description of your scale and click the "Save changes" button. Now when you create a new activity your new scale is one of the options in the grade selection drop down list.

Older versions of Moodle will find the scales option in the administration block itself.
