Hi

is there a way to change the format of the front page from "sites" to "topics" ?

I see the value "sites" for the front page (id=1) in the "format" field in the "mdl_course"

Dear Di,

Assuming you are using Moodle 1.9, then the front page can be configured by going to Site Administration -> Front Page -> Front Page Settings.

I had a bash at changing the database as you hinted, even to the extent of increasing the number of sections, but it appeared to make no difference.

Cheers,

Gareth

I don't see an option at  Site Administration -> Front Page -> Front Page to change the course format from "sites" to "topics"

Cheers,
