Embedding Media Player Video with html editor

I have been successful with embedding a media player video in the html editor; however, after the editor is closed and reopened the previous working code has been modified and will not work. The editor is adding incomplete lines of code to what I have previously written causing the video to error/ crash. Not sure if this happens when switching from html to wysiwyg mode.

Has anyone ever experienced this?

Yes, it's a the editor's filters. You need to turn off the editor (in your Moodle profile) when adding or editing such code. Alternatively you can use a js file to write the embedding code and then just include that file; or you can put the embedding code in an html file and embed that file. smile
