Hello everybody, I'm in learning process, and I need to create a script which allows me to consult an internal database into moodle, actually I need a SCORM repository and a script that consults that database, the user can download files there and also query with some parameters to download and teach offline or so. I think that creating an internal database is enough to usea as repository, but now I need to create the script, now I'm confused where I have to start from, could be this a block or a mod ? thanks in advance

There are a couple of repositories already 'out there'. You might want to look at:
- DOOR (Digital Open Object Repository) is a free learning object repository implementing IMS metadata and content package specifications. It's usefull to all organizations producing, storing and reusing digital learning contents
- DSpace open source software enables open sharing of content that spans organizations, continents and time
