Hi James - I am working with a school that is in the second year of using Moodle. This coming year they are implementing a Bring Your Own Technology (BYOT) and are anticipating that some students will have iPads. I've been looking at different possibilities for them to access Moodle using that technology. I purchased mBook, asked our IT department to install the suggested requirements. I can see our school's Moodle server on my iPad, but it doesn't recognize any of my courses. Is there something I'm missing on my end, or perhaps some setting they may have missed on the server?
Thanks - Barb
Thanks for trying out mBook. Can you send me the URL to my email, email@example.com? I would like to check a few things, but actually you may also help to see if your Moodle is of version 1.9.x, debug mode OFF, English as default language, JSON is installed, our "mobile" folder is installed, and of permission 640 or 644 or 777, etc.
If it is Moodle 2.x, our coming release will support it with another web service folder, MWS, instead of "mobile". Please have the above examined first, or you may send me the URL. Thanks
