this just maybe impossible - the different departments want to have their own moodle sites however I see the big head ache being that they also want to share one calendar and user logon - I can see how to share the user logon (external verification - eg the other moodle site) but want about the calendar. Also will one mysql database cope with the different sites if I set the table names to have different prefixs or will it overload the system.
Also if we use the weekly format how difficult will it be to transfer to the next year (when the weeks/ holidays could be different) or can we transfer to the topic layout. How easy is it to do this, has anyone tried.
