Can anyone please tell me if the Pirate language I downloaded from Moodle.org and installed can be hidden until next September? It would be a shame to have to uninstall and reinstall it every year, and it looks funny having it as an option when Talk Like A Pirate Day is 11 months away. Thank you.

you could use the "langlist" variable available at Site Administration > Language > Language settings > Languages on language menu. In that field, just provide a list of all languages you want to offer - but the pirate langpack.
