Using Moodle 2.0 RC1

Hi there, I'm wondering if anyone can help with this.

I can backup and restore the main course structure however the document attachments such as Word documents and PDF's don't get backed up.

When I'm in the "Schema settings" part of the backup there are red crosses and a lock which says "locked by dependencies" against those particular topics that have the attachments. Is there any way around this?

Sorry if it's already been covered but I couldn't find a solution anywhere.

We're trying to figure this one out also.  Our version is 2.0 release version.

If we learn anything . . . will share here.

Update:

Courses -> Bacukups -> General backup defaults

Just set the backup preferences back to the original default settings and now things work as expected.

But . . . we didn't have any of the "locked" checkboxes selected .  .  . so I'm not sure why it seemed to behave as if the setting was locked.

I wonder whether it may be a Bug?   or our UI confusion?

I’m trying to backup a learning object in a Moodle 2.0 (Build: 20101130) course and restore the learning object to another course in the same Moodle.

However, all of my learning objects have a big red cross next to them and a yellow padlock next to that.

When I hover over the padlock some text comes up saying “Locked by dependencies”.

What does this mean exactly?

More importantly, what can I do about it?

I had a similar problem as described in "Loss of Backup in Moodle 2.1.1" posted on November 11, 2011.

Same Problem here.

First I get this script error though:

 

Then I get the "locked by dependencies" showing up for the last 30 or so activities in my restore course listing.
