How to contribute translation?

Greetings,

Several days ago I installed Moodle 2.0 RC1 in anticipation of the new features that it provides. To my disappointment, there were just several translated phrases in Bulgarian translation, so I set out and translated about 10% of all strings, related to the everyday use of the system (Users, Courses, Blogs, Forums, News and Calendar etc.) which suited the needs of my department fine. I wish to complete the translation though.
So I want to ask several things:
1. How to find the person(s) working on it and how to contribute my part of the translated strings?
2. Is there any tool (or process) to merge translations if there are two intersecting sets of translations.
3. Should I contribute my translation now or should I wait several more weeks to get even more full translation?

Hi Angelin,

There's now a cool tool to address this: it's called AMOS and you can access it at this location: http://lang.moodle.org/.

Moreover, you'll find some documentation for this tool at this address: http://docs.moodle.org/en/Translation_2.0.

Don't forget to get in touch with the maintainer of your language's Moodle translation!

Good luck,

Nicolas
