we are trying to implement a "secure exam environment" to enable online exams with limited access to other ressources.
on our main moodle-A all users and courses exist and messaging, boards ..... the full package.
I was setting up a second moodle-B Server and established MNET propperly. But then I figured out that to access moodle-B users have to login to moodle-A first and then roam to moodle-B
As for security reasons we want to allow access only to moodle-B during exam period I dont want users to access also moodle-A during exams.
Is there any possibility to manage this?
moodle-A with all userdata and courses
moodle-B only with online Exams
Users should be able to login into moodle-B with their moodle-A credentials.
is this possible or am I completely wrong?
Thank you for you help
Users must be able to access moodle-A in order to access moodle-B through MNet, so you're stuck there. But you may be able to prevent them from accessing the courses in moodle-A (e.g. change the Student and Authenticated User roles, or hide courses, etc.).
