Hi everyone, I've installed Moodle 1.9.9 and I've created some courses and students.
Well, my problem is that when I set up a forum on a course and put some messages on it, no one of my course students get any notification on its mail account. I've tried forcing subscription and optional subscription and they don't work.
Do I need to configure anything for this to work¿?

I have a same problem. For 1 course I tried in June, the forum email reminder was working fine at the beginning. After 1 week, it just stopped sending email notifications, which I found interrupted the communication significantly. I am also looking for solutions here...
