Have you given your quizzes some sort of order? Are they linked as a series?

If so they should upload to Quizport or the Hotpot Module in the order you have given them. So if you have a set of quizzes in a file and, from the "Adding a new QuizPort/Hot Potatotes" page that you get when you select Quizport or a Hot Potatoes quiz as an activity, you choose "Add Quiz Chain>Yes" the quizzes will be added in the order you gave them.

You can give them alphabetical or numerical order. If you haven't linked them you can use the Masher to build a unit of quizzes.
