Best way to post changing word documents

Hi all,

I need to add 200+ word documents to a course, but these documents will be changing a lot over the next 6 weeks.  What is the best way to list these documents in a module?

Currently, I'm placing the documents on a webserver and simply linking to them using the add link button.  This way, we can edit the documents on the webserver, and as long as the filename is the same, the link will still work in Moodle.

Is there a way that is just as easy, but allows us to host the file "inside" Moodle?  Maybe by overwriting previous versions of a file...or a "check out / check in" concept?

Thanks in advance.

I tried the Microsoft Add-on and it worked fine. It simply allows you to open a MS Office file directly from Moodle and then save it back to Moodle after modification. So you skip the FTP part.
