When I post a message in a forum, I am supposed to get a copy of this post since I checked the option email me. 2 hours after I posted, I still can not get any email. Is there anyone can tell me what goes wrong? Where should I check? What causes the notice email could not be sent out to users?
Simple things first. Check for the accuracy of your email in your profile and definitely look to see if it is in your computer email SPAM box.
I wrote a simple test php script to test the email system on the server. I used phpmailer, no problem to send out email.
So the email system is work, just something within forum itself is wrong. But I don't know what it is.
