Problems retrieving code from CVS

Hi,

Is anyone else getting an error when attempting to download the latest code via CVS. This has been working well for over 12 months but it recently stopped working with the following error:

"can't create temporary directory /tmp/cvs-serv30878"

Has anyone seen this error and can they advise what we should do?

Hi Michael,

I cannot reproduce this issue on cvs.moodle.org, are you using a mirror?
If so the mirror maintainer needs to be contacted (which I can do)

Hi Jordan,

Would you believe, it worked today for the first time in quite a few days (!), even with no change on our server. At the time of your post - and presumably your test - it had worked for us also.

Anyway, we are pointing to us.cvs.moodle.org and I'd be interested to know if they've been having issues in recent days.

Michael - I also had noticed this and switched to us2 and it was fine. At first I thought it was an issue with the host of the account that I was supporting but later discovered it to be an issue with the us.cvs.moodle.org site. I sent an email to Wen but have not verified that it is working again. I suspect that they fixed it and all is well again. Peace - Anthony
