I can successfully access the moodle_user_get_users_by_id function by using these url parameters.
How can I specify the required parameters for some of the more complex functions such as moodle_user_create_users?
enable the ws documentation into the Admin protocol page. Then access it through /webservice/wsdoc.php
The REST params are indicated.
I have one more question. Are there more external service functions available anywhere that are not bundled with the current version of moodle 2.0?
I haven't seen any sites releasing Moodle 2.0 web service functions yet.
Otherwise we will commit few course related web service functions soon, but nothing else planned in a short term period.
I'm using Netbeans, and I can't add the Moodle 2.0 Web service to my IDE. When I use the Web service URL:
in Netbeans, I get the Message:
Cannot determine if the service is of type WSDL or WADL.
I think I shall give Netbeans WADL file, but I don't know how to make netbeans see this web service.
Would you please help ?
Thanks in advance
I'm not sure how to fully integrate the Moodle web services into Netbeans. For the moment, I am just making URL requests from java to Moodle using the various parameters.
Thanks for your reply. I was going "Crazy" actually for the last three days. I have figured out the solution you mentioned here. Seems a solution to go through a situation, but actually...
I have found out a better implementation in Python and JSON for Moodle 2 Web services @ MooConsole: http://sites.google.com/site/mooconsole/
Unfortunatly I'm not fluent @Python or JSON, so I'm thinking to go back to XML RPC method for now.
Anyway, Best wishes with your project.
