we have around 500 students and 100 teachers.
we have created 10 courses...
now students can choose the class and they become student as a role.
but if teacher choose a course he/she also becomes a student instead of teacher or non-editing teacher.
now if we wish to identify the teachers and give them a role it becomes very difficult....
is there any method by which there will be a group of students and teachers and non-editing teachers are separate....and when they will choose a course how they will get a role of teacher instead of student role?
can you guide me?...

If you want this to be an automatic process, it can be achieved using Microsoft AD as your authentication method.
Moodle allows for specifying "Student" and "Teacher" OU's.
Non-editing teachers will have to be done manually.
There are alternate strategies you can use to make administration simpler, although some may have more overheads than others.
