I've reported a number of different bugs in Moodle 2.0 - ranging from very minor, to critical. In several of these cases I've tracked down exact line numbers and suggested suitable fixes, but I've not seen any movement on any of them in the weeks since they were reported.
I'm sorry if I'm being a impatient, but several of these could be fixed very easily and with Moodle 2.0 heading for release next month (?), I'd really like to see some progress on them.
MDL-22686 - Assignments - long filenames submitted by students + low screen resolutions makes marking of assignments impossible (not sure exactly how to fix this one)
MDL-22659 - assignment type plugins cannot preprocess settings form data (needed to allow plugins to include files in the settings form) (patch proposed to fix this)
MDL-22499 - teachers unable to view profiles for students on their course (unless the teacher is given global permission to view profiles) (not sure how to fix this one)
More minor bugs, but still annoying:
MDL-22528 - AJAX course editing disabled in Chrome / Safari (a one-line change, seems to allow it to work perfectly)
MDL-22498 - navigation blocks messed up when viewing student activity reports (troublesome line in the CSS identified)
I know everyone is working very hard at the moment and I hope this message does not upset anyone, but I wanted to make sure that Moodle 2.0 didn't ship with these bugs still around.
You are right, most of the developers are very busy. I am sure they will get there in the end.
