The CLAMP LAE Grader report allows instructors to enter grades as letters, pre-processes them to determine if what is entered can be interpreted as a letter grade according to how the letter grades are setup for the course and returns a corresponding numerical value based on the grademax and the letter-grade boundaries (it subtracts '1' from the lower boundary of the next grade up). Next edition due out in a couple weeks. We used through all of last term and faculty found it very useful.
