Hi everyone,
Does anyone have any ideas on how to move the left menu to the top of the page?
We currently use a theme which restricts the width of the lesson, this means that the left menu kicks out allt he content to the right.
Any thoughts welcome.
Phil
Hello Phil,
I'm not sure if this an option for you, but you could try adjusting the css for the menu to lessen the width and maybe shrink the font size down a point or two. This may just make the menu slim enough for you to keep it where it is.
Moving the menu would require a lot of php programming and possibly a new block - this may be a quicker solution for you. Also restricting the number of characters in the lesson page titles could help (I know this can be difficult if not impossible), but it would stop extra long titles appearing if you are able to (by restricting I just mean letting teachers know they should only use X no. of characters).

Thanks for both of your responses
I've opened a tracker at http://tracker.moodle.org/browse/MDL-22752 if anyones interested.
I'm also going to have a look at the css to see if i can improve it at all.
