I hadn't seen your message, I reproduce here my message in "filters" posted two weeks ago (nobody has answered).
I have some problems with course and activity names:
When the name is displayed elsewhere, in my case in a block (test results), where all languages appear (already in the dropdown menu where the test is choosen > maybe that's why ?) , but worse, in automatical e-mails, where the span doesn't apply; here's a Moodle generated e-mail:
Bienvenue au cours « >> <span class="multilang" lang="fr">accéder au
test</span><span class="multilang" lang="en">Go to the test</span><span
class="multilang" lang="de">Zum Französischtest</span><span class="multilang"
lang="es">acceder al test </span> »
This is annoying, especially for the e-mails which are generated automatically...could there be a way to show the short name instead of the long one to avoid emails like that one ?
