Hi all,
I'm planning for our first big rollover of courses at the end of this academic year.
I think have seen it written that students keep their grades (and assignment files?) even after they are unenrolled or a course is reset. I have tested un-enrolling and re-enrolling and this seems to be true but I don't want to have to re-enrol students to access old grades or assignments.
IF grades and assignments persist, how does one access these?
Is there a way to give students an overview of grades on all courses?
thanks!
Carol

Hi Carol,
If you will reset the course, a lot of info can be gone, depending on what you choose. So be careful with that option
If your students are supposed to retain access to the course activities and grades, I would not re-use the course shells.
I would create new shells every semester and import my content there.
Then gradually archive or delete old courses.
