Is there a way to reset QuizPort attemps to zero

Hi Gordon or anybody else who knows,

I would like to reuse some QuizPorts by moving them down to some later week. Moving them is very easy. I would like to be able to reset the student attempts and grading on the quizpors back to zero if possible. I do not use Moodle for overall grades. Therefore, it does matter if they go back to zero. I want to use these for a final review.

I know there is a way to copy them but I do not want to through that learning curve at the moment. I am hoping for a easy, I mean lazy way out.

Thanks,
Jeff

I see - I think. You want to move the QuizPort and delete all attempts?

In that case ...
  1. move the QuizPort
    • if necessary, switch the course page into edit mode
    • click the move activity icons move activity icon and select the place in the course where you want to move the activity to
  2. remove all attempts for the QuizPort
    • if necessary enable the "Activities" block on your course page
    • click on the "QuizPorts" link in the "Activities" block. This will take you to the QuizPorts index page for that course page
    • select the check box for the QuizPort you are interested in
    • select "Delete: Quiz Attempts (all)" from the "Action" drop down menu at the top of the page
    • click the "Go" button and confirm the action if prompted
That should do it !
