I have submitted a bug (http://tracker.moodle.org/browse/MDL-22668) for 2.0 but I am also noticing this in 1.98.
Youtube and other media filters are being applied to content in labels, webpages, forums, etc... however youtube links and site based files (2.0) are not being parsed.
As per some older discussions, I have installed OUwiki and the media youtube filter works just fine.
I have tried on my own Moodle 2.0 installation and the QA installation.
Is the filter feature just not ready in 2.0 and didn't exist in 1.9x or is there workaround?
