I was using the html editor to make a button that appears in the bottom right hand corner of the web browser. The button stays in the same place, even when you scroll through the page.
By inserting a label into a course from the "Add a resource" drop down menu, I can have a button appear in the corner of the browser using the code shown in red below:
It works perfectly. I switched from WYSIWYG mode to text mode so I could paste code in.
<div style="position: fixed; right: 0px; bottom: -5px;"><a target="_blank" href="http://moodle.mine.nu/helpdesk"><img src="http://moodle.mine.nu/moodle/file.php/15/help.png" /></a></div><a href="http://moodle.mine.nu"> </a>
I have been trying to modify this code so the image of the button changes when the mouse moves over and also when the button is clicked. I used a free program that will output some code to place in any html page.
The only problem is that when you paste the code into the html editor in text mode, the code seems to disappear if you change between text and WYSIWYG mode a few times.
If I save the code, nothing appears on the course page. If I try to edit it I can't get into text mode. Here it this code that the free program creates:
background: url("") 0 0 no-repeat;
<div class="liknobtn liknobtn1" id="liknobtn_1" Xonmouseover="this.style.backgroundPosition='0 -40px';" Xonmousedown="this.style.backgroundPosition='0 -80px';" Xonmouseup="this.style.backgroundPosition='0 -40px';" Xonmouseout="this.style.backgroundPosition='0 0';"></div>
Does anyone know how I can modify this code so I won't have these problems? It's like moodle is not excepting this code. I have attached an image showing what is working so far.
Thanks for any advice
