I'm not sure I understand your problem. Please post a screenshot showing what happens.

Yes, a screenshot might help.
Also, are you using Safari? If so, try using Firefox.
I think the default number of choices is 4, so it almost sounds like your browser / editor is not showing the lower options ?

Have you checked how many branches are listed in your lesson set up screen? Go to the edit lesson page and under the first heading of 'General' you can set the Maximum number of answers/branches there - perhaps this is set at 2? This could be causing your problem. I've attached a partial screen shot.
Try upping the number here and see if that changes anything for you.
