Hi all,
I have moodle 1.9.8 installed as a test environment on my machine, the glossary can filter view by chosen letter ONLY in case of english letters by choosing any english letter from the filter at the top, but in case of arabic language, the arabic letters are shown as one single link, so I can't choose any letter to filter by !!
however, I passed the letter itself (manually) as an arugment with the URL to try if it filters the view or not, but it didn't work .. see the 2 attached images :

I then, rolled back to my other version of Moodle, which is 1.9.4, the glossary there displays all arabic letters as a link for each letter, so I can choose which letter to filter by, but in all cases, it does not filter arabic words according to an arabic letter filter !!
