Bigbluebutton Server: getting no connection to moodle and drupal

Hi,

some days ago I installed a BBB-Server on a virtual machine in the
cluster of our university.
Its a standard fresh installation of Ubuntu 9.04 Server; with nothing
added and I followed the complete
installation instructions from this page, everything went well. Now
the server is running and the demo-surface
is reachable, we also tested various demo-conferences; everything
working fine. I didnt change any settings
(despite from the --setip command).

Now the problem is, since nearly 1 week im trying to get it work with
both moodle and drupal, but none of them works. I always get the
standard error message (moodle: "your subscription has expired...",
drupal: "connection couldn't be established"). All the needed ports
(80, 1935, 8080 etc.) are opened to the internet and by default to the
LAN, I am totally sure I entered the true security salt number and I
tried all possible adresses in the adressfield: the IP adress of the
server or the server-adress in both moodle and drupal, also i tried
different ports and assigning a dns name to the server or using the
fixed IP adress.

Now after 1 week trying, I'm searching help here, because I tried
everything that I can imagine without success.
We are running Moodle 1.9.7 and Drupal 6.

I also tested the API with the Crome-Plugin: successful
And I checked the bb-web.log : There appear no new messages, when moodle or drupal attempt to connect with the server..
