Backup file not found

I'm using Moodle 1.9 and at the end of a Course Backup it shows me the name of a Zip file that has supposedly been created. However, when I go to restore that backup to a new course the "backupdata" folder is empty.

Can anyone suggest anything that I might need to do to correct this?

Did you get a fix for this as I am experiencing the same issue. It also (doesn't) happen with automated backups triggered by cron.

I'm on Moodle 1.9.8

Hmmmm. It would appear it is getting to the zipping file point but doesn't. There is a 7 Meg video in that course so suspect that is the problem.

What do I need to change to allow bigger courses to be zipped?

I can confirm deleting the large file fixed it for me. Obviously not ideal.

How do allow larger backups to be created? Is it a server or moodle setting?

Have you tried using the experimental split restore feature in site admin>miscellanous?<experimental?
