I am studying under a moodle system , currently i face a problem in view images in some assignments .
I informed the management about that issue they told that problem doesn't appear from their side ..
The images links were added perfectly , they are in "Gif" format , can "gif" be the reason ? or what?
Hope to find out !
Thanks in advance
Thanks for your response , yes i see only red x instead of the images , actually i am enrolled in that course and i guess some students also can't see the same images..
I tried also 2 browsers to view the site , but still doesn't work ..
Here is a link of one image :
What do you think?
I am still waiting to suggest on me , from previous post, pictures also don't appear.
Is this problem with browser or from site ???
hope to answer me soon!
If the URL of the image is
are your sure you are in the course with id 16? Please go into the course home page and look at the address of that page. It should be something like
This issue may happen if the teacher copies the IMG tag from another course so it points to the original one. Because the teacher is enrolled into both courses, they can see it. But because the students (or some of them) are not allowed to enter the original course, the image is not displayed to them.
How does this relates to Workshop by the way? it the image used in the Workshop description or where?
Actually that was in the previous course i was enrolled , i tried now to check it's id
It's not 16 but 30 ..
And even now i am enrolled in another courses , but still have this issue. The pictures are related to assignments as a description .
How to solve that ? when ever i inform the technical support , they keep telling me that it's working properly with them and also with students .
you are in the course with id=56 but you are trying to display image from completely different course (id=64) and - as I can see - completely different installation (/dev directory). This can't work, intentionally. This has nothing to do with workshop (or even Moodle itself), it must be your local issue, caused probably by incorrecttly copying Moodle installation or so.
