I found a thread describing how to make a csv file with no password for the mass/bulk enrolment plugin. However I've since lost it.
Furthermore, I successfully created a csv file to upload a number of users previously, but now forget how to do it.
I've tried a few times with only one column i.e. email with the emails of users underneath the heading in the same column. It worked once but now seems to have stopped working.
The instructions on the bulk enrolment page within the course are:
With this option you are going to enrol a list of known users from a file with one account per line (empty lines or unknown accounts will be skipped).
The file may contains one or two columns, separated by a comma, a semi-column or a tabulation.
The first one must contains a unique account identifier : idnumber (by default) login or email of the target user.
Can anyone point me in the right direction on how to create a csv file with minimum of effort? Please note we are using LDAP already (this is perhaps not relevant as the bulk enrolment plugin is only for a course).
