Hah - I didn't know that existed! Maybe it got added after I built our perflog feature. (It probably doesn't handle our multi-front-end-server system and the stats are not so useful - 'average' [mean] is a bad measure for web performance usually - but basically the same, and the different tables are interesting...)
Obviously our feature works the same way using the MDL_PERF, MDL_PERFDB stuff. Well, so maybe what's already there is good enough for most people! Also, it might be good enough for us if we ditch the idea of combining logs from the different front-end servers, & automatically generating summaries. Maybe something we don't need to port to Moodle 2...
