Require login for access to anything, except one resource?

Require login for access to anything, except one resource?

Hello,

Currently on my Moodle site, it is locked down so that users are required to log in or create an account before they can access or see any part of the site.

If at all possible I want to keep it that way but with one exception. I have one module/resource that I want to allow anyone to access even if they don't have an account.

Is there a way to do that?

I really want to keep the functionality of the "Force users to login" setting where it takes people to the screen that gives them the option of logging in or creating an account. But, at the same time I want to allow people to get to one of the modules which is really a custom report listing everyone that has received a certificate on the site.

Thanks,
Dustin Elliott

I have decided that I can accomplish the functionality I was looking for by allowing guest access to the site and then setting the permissions on the individual modules and blocks to prevent guests from access them.

If someone knows of a way to do what I originally asked about I would still like to know about it.

Thanks,
Dustin
