Is there a reason that the Workshop requires at least one peer assessment? We had at least one case where that requirement was clearly not good and things got all mangled as a result.
In this case the student submitted their paper in a format that none of the other students could read. I then asked them to convert it to PDF and re-submit, but they couldn't (presumably because no one had assessed their work, presumably because no one could).
One concern I have is that perhaps the Workshop portion of my DB has been corrupted by past problems with this module, but I'm not an experienced DB person so it's hard for me to say. I keep getting these odd error messages, and then it logs people out and jumps them back to the index page of our Moodle install. Is that something that's happened to other people? If so, what might I be looking for in the DB, and how might I fix it (without losing data from last semester's workshops)?
Thanks as always - Nic
I think resubmission only works if the assessment period has not started. Otherwise, students would be altering work that had already been assed and the comparison wouldn't work. I fixed the same issue by setting it so that assessments started only when submisions stopped.

What other solutions are out there?
