Hi,

I am having problems with digital certificates when trying to access uploaded Office documents (currently mainly 2007 format)

When opening the file (or saving) it prompts for a digital certificate. As far as I know we have all the correct digital certificates installed for the site.

Interestingly it does not seem to have the same problem when accessed from my home machine, and it also seems to work with Firefox -so I guess it is just an IE(7/8 mainly ) compatability issue

Any ideas?

An Update,

i have narrowed it down to an issue with IE trying to open the word (etc) file within itself rather than using the native program. I found that forcing download of the resource seems to fix the problem at school..

Going home now to test it there.

I would however still love to be able to turn this off properly.
