Hi fellow Moodlers,

Is there a simple way of deleting a student's submission within an assignment?

The grade can be manually overriden or all the course assignment submissions can be reset. However, there is a need to allow single students to redo/resubmit an assignment(s) in the original assignment submission area instead of making always a fresh one for the resubmissions.

Any ideas?

Hi Juhana,

I think this has been answered already in this post, in which case its a pretty clunky workaround, but a solution no less!

Far better solution is to use the Advanced Upload assignment type which does allow you to delete attempts easily.
