Hardware and performance

Now that there has been recent discussion on the subject of "most reliable platform", I'd like to ask this again. There was the error in which logged in users switched to another account. I couldn't find it from the forums, but remember seeing it. Was it only on Apache 2 or on both 1.3 and 2?

Martin L, are you running Apache 2 in the "middle range" installation you have? The situation might be different with vanilla Apache and with phpa, squid, proxy and the like...
