Nadav has not been to this forum in a long while so I'll try and answer your question.
Depending on where you want your image to be on yout moodle site depends on how it is coded into the theme.
But it is easy to add an image to a theme you just place the image in the pix directory of the theme you are using...
moodle/theme/yourtheme/pix
