I think you might be able to use a WIKI.... the home page could be book list...there would be a separate page for each book so that when students clicked on the title of the book on the home page, they would go to that books page. This would allow students to continually add to the pages and other students could add commments to it...
Depends on the age of your students... they would need to be told not to type over other student's work...
