Thanks, Ive used Groups and think I will align them to years; I'm not sure what you mean by a metacourse - if I understand you, as this is a lagnuage course, I will be putting in all of the new trainess (they do three years) into a pre-assessment course. This will mean they will then bec ome Year 1 students. my current Year 1 - become Year 2, and next year They will become Year 3 (and then gradualte, as you can imagine it will get busy.

I wasn;t aware of Xampp - where do I find it
