Hi,
I have created a glossary in my Moodle Site and for each entry I checked off auto linking. The admin filter has been set allowing auto linking as well. However, it's not working! Any ideas? Thanks!

Hello Margery,
When you click on the "Update this Glossary" button to configure your glossary, make sure that the "Automatically link glossary entries" is set to "Yes". If you are having trouble finding it, look under "Allow Print view" and above "Approved by default". It is near the top.

I'm in the same trouble as Margery, running Moodle 1.9.7.
I've checked the above setting several times, no effect yet
(we still run older Moodle 1.7.1. where the Glossary auto-link works as expected)
EDIT: Just solved via Filters, see http://moodle.org/mod/forum/discuss.php?d=149315

Hi Margery,
In what way is it not working? What are you not seeing that you are expecting to see?
Cheers

Please check if "automatically link glossary" is enabled on platform level:
admin > manage activities > glossary : automatically link glossary entries
By default this is not.
Best Regards, Marcus
Sorry, I don't think you understood my post. I wanted to know what exactly the problem was that Margery was seeing. Maybe she is expecting it to work differently than it is supposed to.
