We are releasing next version, 0.23, this week, so I would wait to try the new one, as it is much easier to install and has more features.
Thanks, but no clues how it works..
for my concept of CMS, it manage the content separately and for the purpose of "Reuse of Learning Object", so in Moodle when I need to access a given topic, (or with tags) I can quickly search the object out and plug into the course.... Seems Joomdle is not doing this if I'm right? Thanks
As you say, Joomdle does not do what you want (at least not right now ;)).
It seems as if what you are looking for is a repository, more than a CMS. I tried some time ago Alfresco iintegration with Moodle 2.0 and it looked very promising.
Thanks Ralf, seems that you are developer of Moodle am i right?
It's great that moodle will have CMS itself, but worry about the launch time.
Its horrible to search for CMS these days, if Moodle can do what we want then it will be great.
What we concern is Reuse Learning Object, the work flow like this: Our Editors put large amount of different learning objects on the CMS, by category, level, etc; then our teachers when putting their course content they can choose any objects in the pool....... It is good to reuse of objects not only bounded to a cource itself only..
If I can have tags in each learning object in the CMS, it should be powerful, you know, with the tag the teacher can search and assign learning objects to individual student manually (or by intelligent agent).... it would be a powerful function for moodle...what do you think? thanks
Our favorite LMS grows in its inner capabilities, and now needs to grow to the "cloud" by integrations with CMS, rubrics, social networks, shared docs & project management systems.
