I have not having any luck importing questions from Blackboard to Moodle. I have tried exporting from my class pools and also just using the .zip file provided by the book publisher. I keep getting "this .zip contains no questions" (I know it does!) I exported a test one time and Moodle said "parsing questions" but no questions ever appeared. I am making an error somewhere. Any insight? Thanks!

I am new to this but if it helps, when I export from TestGen into blackboard format I can import the questions into Moodle by using only the .dat file from inside the zip file. I import that file and it comes up fine.

One fairly reliable way is to use Respondus to export your questions out of Bb and then set Respondus to Moodle format, which Moodle can work with. But you'd need to purchase Respondus.
