force certain theme if login from subdomain

Hi all,

We have a situation with Moodle where we need to force a theme for certain users. We use Moodle for sales training and have several clients that use the site. One client would like a specific theme with their logo, etc.

We do not need separate databases or a separate install of Moodle.

I know we can force a certain theme for a course and I know I can create an alternate login page.

But what we would like is that once this client logs in, the home page listing their courses is a different theme from everyone else.

What I'm wondering is if we create a subdomain for that client and put their login page there, in Moodle, can I check what subdomain they logged in from and change the theme?

Could this be done in the config.php for the Standard theme?

Any ideas or thoughts would be appreciated.

Thanks Patrick. We are not on the latest version yet. So this is just another reason to upgrade smile
