I knew that if I edited a grade directly in the gradebook, that it would "override" the grades where they could not be edited on the assignment submission page....but I really thought it would happen for only that assignment. I edited a grade in the gradebook, and now ALL of my "Advanced uploading of files" assignments for ALL of my students are overridden!! (edit: thankfully it only did this to one group and not all of my students) And that wasn't even the type of assignment I edited!!
Now, I know I can go into the gradebook, turn on editing, and edit each student's grades to uncheck the overridden box. (and that only works if I do that twice for each student) Please tell me there is an easier way to reset those assignments so I grade them on the assignment submission page other than have to do that for each student and for each unit??????
