Hotpot breaks page design

When viewing a Hotpot Quiz, the page design breaks: fonts became tiny, links get different colors, the margins change, background color changes,...
To solve the problem I've changed the mod/hotpot/template/v6hp6.cs_ file and commented out the offending CSS.
Is there some other way to achieve this without changing the module's source code?

Hi Mitja,

What theme are you using? I know "custom corners" is incompatible with Hot Potatoes (QuizPort has no trouble) but most themes are fine.

Cheers,

Hi Mitja,
here are some suggestions:
  • use a standard Moodle theme (apart from Custom Corners)
  • set "Navigation" to "none" for you HotPot activity
  • add some CSS to the quiz page using Hot Potatoes -> Options -> Configure Output -> Custom -> Code for insertion into <head> tag
  • use the QuizPort module as it does a better job of keeping the Moodle styles and the HP styles distinct

Gordon
