I have posted this issue before, but no luck in terms of a solution as of yet.
We are an IB school and several of our courses assess assignments against multiple categories. For now, I have been telling teachers to create assignments under each category and grade them separately - this is quite cumbersome considering all they want is a single assignment. The rubric module looked promising, but there seems to be problems when upgrading versions.
Does anyone have any ideas here? Any hope for a solution with 2.0? It would be nice if you could simply assign multiple categories by using control + click from the grade categories drop down in the assignment interface.

I think that this work for 2.0 will help with the issue. Once we will have such scales, we will be able to truly utilize outcomes as grading rubrics.
