i install moodle on windows server 2003 with iis6 and sql server 2005. i set smtp on moodle.but I have this error(The following From address failed: kiana49@yahoo.com) in register a user . please help me. I need your helping
Are you allowed to relay via the SMTP server that you specified in the setup?
If so, try adding valid values to the following settings in your php.ini file:
[mail function]
SMTP = mail.whatever.com
smtp_port = 25
sendmail_from = you@yourmail.com
The sendmail_from address should be a valid e-mail address, else you might be mistaken for a spammer by your firewall.
And have you specified your mail server details under:
Site Administration > Server > Email
